PSI design:
It is a case of subperiosteal dental implant design of a female patient. The surgeon planned for resectioning the resected mandible and oral rehabilitation for the patient. Ti6Al4V grade 5 material is used to make the implant. The surgical planning was done in our surgical planning app Enhance. Using the pre-processing app MedViewer, 230 total images are collected and 109 no. of images are processed. Based on the annotation and consultation with our consultant surgeons or implant designers, implants are designed and modified in the digital implant shape, and manufactured using the metal 3D printer.
